What is the most number of MLB players on one team involved with one out? In other words. has there ever been a 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 type out recored in MLB history?

    this is a very good question. I will look more into this, but the most i have seen for a single out was 7 (4-6-2-6-3-4-1). explaination: Ground ball to 2nd baseman who was running hard to his right, tossed it to shortstop, bad throw to 1st. catcher backs it up while the runner heads toward 2nd base, throws it to the shortstop covering 2nd, SS runs at the runner throws to 1st baseman. 1st baseman runs at runner throws to 2nd baseman, 2nd baseman runs at runner and throws to pitcher covering 1st base, runner tagged out. very odd play.
