yes, the "minimum system requirements" do not distinguish between desktop computers and laptop computers. as long as your hardware meets requirements, it will work.

That probably depends on your laptop, but both my girlfriend and I play it on our laptops. I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 and she has a Gateway(Blech)
