  • I am curious myself. I have smoked when I was a teen and tired it again a few years ago for pain. As for pain it really did not help because every time I did it I had different results. I was looking for another way for pain relief other than opiates. I think we do not know enough about the effects of marijuana. I know it's not good for your lungs and is probably worse than cigarettes. The drug that makes you high is THC and that is an hallucinogenic drug. I'm sure it is going to have an effect on your brain. All the pot heads I know are usually underachievers and some I noticed as adults have serious emotional issues. They seem to be very immature and unable to handle stressful situations well. To light up once in awhile especially before sex is OK. But what people don't realize is that there is blood on it. People have died getting it here. It is organized crime that gets it to were you are. Where it came from, probably many law enforcement people either died or risked their lives trying to stop it. I could not smoke pot knowing that it is possible some cop from another country died trying to arrest the people responsible for getting the drug here. When I tried it for pain I thought about that and stopped. Although I think it should be legalized especially for people with certain diseases like cancer and MS were it does help them. It's just another drug and we in this country do so many, what's another one?
