How old do you have to be to test drive a car in the UK?

    You have to have a full license and you cannot take a driving test until you are 17 years old.

    You would propbably be required to have the salesman in the car with you at such a young age since you couuld not buy the car on HP at that age you would need an adult to shop with you.
