yep

Only if I didn't get to know them offline as well...
-
No, there are some people would like to know better and be closer to.
-
no, it's actually cute.
-
if i never knew them in real life i wouldn't. but i don't think its pathetic. online romance happens a lot apparently
-
lol "online crush" sounds pretty pathetic to me...seriously its blind love
-
Not really. It's natural.
-
Ms. Pathetic at your service....
-
Not pathetic, I don't think... I could definitely see it happening. Everyone here is so nice, how could you not develop a crush on one (or more) of them?
-
If so, then a LOT of us are pathetic, myself included.
-
It's a sorry state if it's only one-sided fantasy. But if there is a true spark, it could be something special:-)
-
No I have a crush on a lot of ppl. I won't say any names Violent Dave, Stable Boy, Drastic. :)
-
only if your crush is on me
-
Personally I do not have a crush on anyone here however I would not say anyone that does have a crush on someone here is pathetic unless of course they have a crush on me then that would be pathetic lol.
-
It isn't unless it's acted on after the crushee has clearly said that the feeling isn't mutual.
-
I don't think so. Depends on who your speaking of....
-
My personal crush knows I have a crush on him, and I don't think it's pathetic....if you get to know someone on a deeper level than their response to the "What do you look like" question and they still hold your attention, there's nothing pathetic about that.
-
Yes, unless it's me, then it's perfectly fine.
-
Nope, I definitely don't think it's pathetic. Good luck with you and your crush.
-
No. It's a natural feeling. It has happened here and many other websites.
-
no not at all...join the club!....I have at least a dozen ...:):)
-
*giggles* Yep :) I'm guilty as well :D
-
It's bound to happen. I would assume we have all been pathetic (I meant crushing) at one point or another.
-
I got one right now on someone. I just have to keep wishing she will see the light.lol
-
No... (notice the dots).

I think it's a misinterpretation of online communication and the perception of emotion felt through the medium. But eh, what do I know? I admire and respect a few people here, and while I'll probably never tell them, it's still not a crush. Never thought it would happen to me, but I'm in a kind of developing intimate relationship with someone in real life (He read some answers on here and thinks I'm being mean.) so I know that what things I might feel for others online isn't a crush. Not to offend anyone at all, but just for me personally, if I did, I'd be worried. But I don't think it's pathetic. Whatever makes you happy and worthwhile, especially if the object of your crush responds positively, is completely fine.
