Cross-country road-trip, but you you only have time to drive one way. Would you rather drive from home to your destination and fly back, or fly to the destination and drive back?

Fly to the destination...and drive back...that way you can take your time going back home :)

Fly to, drive home. Take a long, winding way back home.

Fly then drive back. You'd have more energy for the trip that way.

I thought it might be cooler to drive there and fly home. That way you gradually leave your "zone" of familiarity and make your way into uncharted territory. Driving home would be more leisurely, but I have a feeling the tail end of the drive would be really really boring since you've seen it all before.
