Question

Help answer this question below.

A girl I don't know very well asked me to come to Brazil and stay with her for a few weeks. I don't have much money and could only afford the return ticket and a bit of spending money. Do you think that's a good idea and what are the things to consider?

Traveling anywhere is usually so good for the soul. The vulnerability here is that you don't know here very well, so if you can manage without staying with her (if you should have to) I'd say go! There have to be hostels if you get desperate.

It's an awesome idea, you should definitely go. Don't listen to these answerbaggers, most of 'em are terrified people that never leave the house. Dude, go, and have a great time. Peace.

If you go, give your local friends and family her contact information, and check in with them regularly. Don't let your trip be a secret.

Ask about where you will be going from the airport to her place, to anywhere else you're going to go. Find out what you will be doing. Look up the neighborhoods online. Find out if you will have access to public transportation, cab service, communication, and ATMs while you are there. Your cell phone might not work there at all. It's just responsible trip planning. http://www.slowtrav.com/ might help out, in addition to other sites.

DO NOT quit your job or decide to move there based on a single "few weeks" visit. Peoples real lives get ruined that way. :p srsly.

Two essential questions to answer your dilemma:

1.) Does she have a gag reflex?

    2.) Does she swallow?

I say go and have fun. You may not know her that well right now but who knows she may end up being the love of your life. And Brazil is a very open free and fun place. And people are very sexually open so go and at least get your world rocked lol

This is an opportunity to get to know her better and to learn about another country. Have you met her and is there any mutual desire to get to know each other better?
Get the pasport, confirm the lodging, discuss other friends or relatives, search out the lowest fare airlines, and go have a ball. Be safe!
