Question

Help answer this question below.

Lets say you traveled through time you left on monday at 12pm and you went a week into time and the time was monday at 12pm. where would you be to the people who did not travel though time do you just not exsist for that week you were gone?

    Theoretically, travel into the past should be possible, although it would require enormous amounts of energy. Travel into the future (except by the mundane method of doing it moment by moment) is likely impossible, since there is no such thing as Time by itself, there is only SpaceTime, and since SpaceTime has not reached the "future", there is no future, it is only a vague quantum probability.

    It depends on whose time machine you are using!

    If you're using H.G.Wells time machine, then you exist but faintly. If it takes 1 hour to travel a week into the future then only 0.006 of you would be present at any time. It would be like you were made of a almost invisible gas.

    If you're going by wormhole, then your friends simply think you've been off travelling, which you have. You were elsewhere in space too.

    Perhaps you use a Star Trek transporter type mechanism, then you were imprinted in the pattern memory of the transporter in the intervening time.

    Give me the plans for your time machine and I'll build it and find out your answer for you...

    I think that,Perception being reality,while time traveling you were in fact the only person who existed therefore the question becomes what happened to them in that week?
