  • Why not take a little trip alone. maybe camping and hiking. getting out in the big outdoors and getting in touch with nature. Getting away from all the stress the world puts on us on a daily bases can be overwhelming and when it gets too bad leaving all of it behind for a few days or a week does us a world of good.
  • Force yourself to get out of the house at least once per day for a start - even if it is just for a walk. You may not think so, but it will help. Oh, and although you may not want to, talking to somebody really is essential - it does not have to be somebody you know or even face-to-face. Find the number of a helpline and when you have the house to yourself, make the call. It can be easier to talk to a stranger on the phone than anybody else sometimes. If you have tried lots of other things, then you have nothing to lose by trying two more things (going out & calling a helpline) - you really have nothing to lose and neither will make you feel any worse than you do now.
