What process does a funeral home take in preparing a body for burial/cremation and in holding a funeral/cremation ceremony?

  • This is a broad question since things like the religion of the deceased and their family's wishes along with their stated wishes cannot be addressed for every culture. . .or we'd be here all day writing and reading this answer.

    This is a sensitive topic for a lot of people and the descriptions are NOT suitable for everyone. Here is a link to a site that has a lot of information about the body preperation (embalming, restoration, etc.) and other After Death (that is the section where info is located) info.
