If I am shooting my last ball on the table in a called pocket, my ball is pocketed and then the eight ball pockets on a called shot, do I win?

    No. You don't win. You have to make the eight ball on it's own. You cannot win by combination in most rules. Even in most "bar" and "house" rules you cannot win this way. At least not in my 25 years of experience playing 8-ball for money in bars. Under league rules this is definitely NOT a win.

    Bar rules vary from place to place so while this "may" be a win in a few places it's probably the great exception rather than the rule in most bars.

    As long as your numbered ball sank first, and you called the eight ball as a result of your shot, yes.

    I would say that if you called the shot and the other guy nods then all the power to ya. Take the money. You win, he's only complaining cause you made it.
