If the world was destroyed by flood and Noah with his ark landed in only one place, how is it that so many different animals species are in only specific areas of the world?

The story of Noah's ark was copied from the Sumerians. Originally the story was part of the Epic of Gilgamesh and yes, as Rev. Soleil said, it's a fairy tale.

- I personally feel there is some element of truth albeit very minute. Like all events, it just takes time and a warped perspective for truth to rapidly decend into myth and legend. Just watch the news at 6 each night.

- Not saying there was a "world wide flood" no way. But there may have been a tsunami or localised flooding of the Mesopotamian region way back in prehistory even. Maybe a guy built a canoo. No god involved. Maybe he gathered a few animals for food. 1000 years later he's some sort of hero and the legend lives on. We may never know. But virtually every culture on the planet tells the story in some form. There has to be something in that.

- Not every culture and not most of them by any means but a significant number. Then again bear in mind how the story of Noah's ark was itself taken from the Epic of Gilgamesh. It can appear that there are many or several stories but, in essence, they may well stem from one original story, such as in this case. That those stories could well have originated due to a local flood is of course a perfectly possible scenario.

because the Noah story is a fictional tale that was used as a fear tactic to get people to side with one religion.
The Hindus do not account for a worldwide flood, and their religion is much older. Also the whol Noah story is physically impossible.

- In India there is a Flood legend in which Manu is the human survivor. He befriends a small fish that grows to a large size and warns him of a devastating flood. Manu builds a boat, which the fish pulls until it is grounded on a mountain in the Himalayas. When the flood subsides, Manu descends from the mountain and with Ida, the personification of his sacrifice, renews the human race.

I think there must have been some hugh flood and over the years it got fablized, if that is a word:)
I think animals are only in spacific places because, once the earths continents were mostly one piece,called Pangaea. You can almost put them back together from a world map.
Some hugh catastrophy happened and the world heaved and moved and broke apart, maybe an enormous earthquake, and that is why the continents and the animals are where they are today.

- Of course the earth is always moving. Tetonic plates cause earthquakes when they move. The land masses were together at one time, now they are not. I didn't make that up myself. Have a great day:)

God told them to come to Noah, and afterwards, God told them to go back from where they came...

Usually, it is not a very good idea to mix up the Bible with science anyway...

If I'm going to read the bible, I wouldn't take literally word by word. More often, try to interpret what the moral is and what the lesson involved or learned was.

Sure, some may say it's a fairytale. But how do we know it's not a fairytale, when proof may be buried beneath us...???

Alright enough of this.

Different animal species are found scattered around the world due to the specific environment. Fish would most likely be found in marine life and bodies of water than in deserts.

The Flood was a localized event, but it covered what would have been the whole world to those early people. Two pair of all the animals of the region were gathered onto Noah's ark and stayed on it for 40 days and nights.

After the flood and dispersal of people and animals came the ice age in some areas the animals died out because of the cold , sea levels have changed cutting off areas that were possible to walk to so creating unique animals to set areas.
