    So basically, the present-day Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi used to be colonies of Belgium.

    In school we have been learning of the belgian colony 'Congo'.

    To reply that previous answer, i think there was only one colony that belguim ever had. (i'm not sure)
