Not only is that a great memorial to those killed in 9/11, its also an excellent example of recycling!

I don't think so. I see it as a nation healing. Turning something negative into some positive. I don't think non-Americans really understand the impact that 9/11 has/had on America. It was our Pearl Harbor and I think people let Iraq cloud their feelings. I also find it ironic that the same people that generally support recycling opposed this.

No, I fully support recycling and this is a very fitting way to do exactly that. It's nice that it pays tribute to 2 very traunmatic events in America (9/11 and Katrina).

They could have found a better way to use the steal. A Hospital, a school, a gymnasium... Using it in a battleship.... just wrong.
