I think it would have to be the Komodo Dragon, yeah i'm pretty sure.
Inland Taipan Or Fierce Snake - Oxyuranus Microlepidotus:
The Inland Taipan is the world’s most venomous snake with an lethal dose of 0.01 mg/kg, it is about 10 times as venomous as a Mojave rattlesnake and 750 times as venomous as a common cobra. The venom of the Inland Taipan is capable of killing 250,000 mice or the equivalent of 100 adult men.
I'd say a saltwater crocodile near or in the water.
If I was bitten by a venomous reptile it would probably release its bite and then I could summon or get help so at least then I'd have a fighting chance to survive.
With a measured bite force of about 5,000 psi, a 1 ton death roll, and water there's no way I could escape from the salty. :0.
Gila monster.
Alligator or Crocodile.
Croc or Gator
excruciating bite

I don't think that matters. An animal that has been bitten by a komodo will not survive long. It could take hours or as long as a week or two for the animal to die. The saliva of komodos contains about 50 species of bacteria, at least seven of which cause severe blood poisoning. Providencia rettgeri, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus mirabilis and Proteus morgani are 4 of these bacteria that are fatal to humans. The bacteria build up because food gets stuck in the serrations of their teeth.
