Can 8 week old baby rabbits be kept in a covered hutch outside on a cold february night (snow due!)? It is their first night with us.

Sounds too cold to me. If they had been outside all along but with their brothers and sisters, maybe. But now it's all alone and doesn't have all those little bodies for warmth. If it must be outside, I would rig a heatlamp over it to keep it warm and keep it's water from freezing. It also needs a nest box during the coldest nights with hay so it can stay warm. Or just keep it in the house:-)
