Help answer this question below.

We have solid chestnut floors in our house and want to strip and treat them so they are durable (we have a dog so it's going to get a lot of wear) Anyone know what to treat them with please?

    I have a friend who used a varathane on his floors. It was really heavy duty. The kind they use on school gymnasium floors. I'm sorry but I don't know the name of it. But if thousands of kids can't wreck it it sounds like great stuff.

    hi iam aprofessional UK flooring contractor ,iwould recommend flooring lacquers by Blanchon which is a French or Belgium company so products should be readily available. Good luck Tony

    will depend on what is already on the floors & how much they need sanded. Chestnut flooring looks so good when it ages so strip only little as poss
