Tips to make my weed grow faster/better. I am growing it inside and I shine a lamp on them for about 12 hours a day. Its my first time trying to grow any so any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Plants of any sort need three things to grow well:

Food, Light and Water.

Light you have with lamps... basically. Maybe - depending on the lamp you have, what spectrum it illuminates in and how powerful it is.

There are specially designed grow lights which are meant to start plants or grow plants inside a "dim" house. The spectrum of the light is toward the blue and ultraviolet which plants tend to like.

Food is in the form of fertilizers - usually a decent 10/10/10 will work. If you do not know what that means then I strongly suggest you get some books and learn about what those numbers mean.

Water - different plants have different needs - in many cases less water leads to "stronger" growth - smaller yes, but in the case of herbs there is a concentration of the active ingredients. As example, my dill does better with less water, the dill is more dill-ish for canning.

Aside from it being illegal to grow marijane - it is also ill advised to grow it indoors. Marijane is a type of plant that needs 8 hours (at least) per day of direct sunlight.

I fear there is not enough man made light fixtures you can place in your house to meet those needs reasonably.

Those who do meet those needs have a huge electric bill which now in many states and regions is enough to cause an investigation (legal one at that) and is how many/most pot growers are "caught".

16 hours of light not 12

a grow box helps, you can make one by just covering the inside of a cardboard box with foil, and then putting the light at the top, that reflects all the light back to the plant. also 18 hours on and 6 off is the optimum light for plants up to the flowering stage. fertilizer and keeping them watered is important....and most of all patience

u can leave that light on it 24/7 and only feed it 2 times a week but water it everyday but ya itll grow up to 30percent faster if u leave it on it 24/7 then when u want it to flower u can leave it on 12/12 then eventually u will have it flowering 10/14 although itll take a few weeks to finally flower but hell ya if anyone else needs any help or questions email me at. mikasi_6@yahoo.com. peace out

well some advice when you add insecticide to keep bugs from killing your plant yeah dont do it if you smoke it, it can kill your plant and worse comes to worse you can kill yourself.anyways some tips are taurine found in energy drinks make your plant grow way faster.

it has a genetic code it may grow and Finnish in a few weeks shorter time than other but thats it.

heres an unknown trick. roundup diluted 4 x times will actually make your plants grow faster..

Tip the plant when it has about 5 sets of leaves, right when it first starts growing. It should grow as two solid branches, like a big Y. Then tip both branches when it gets it first sets of white hairs. Then tip all the branches that are growing off these 2 branches JUST before it starts budding. You should end up with two MASSIVE heads, if you time it right. Just experiment with the way you allow your plants to develop.

the more lumins you give them the bigger the buds
plus don,t forget to give then a bloom feed

Hi mate take it from someone who had done this over and over, Veg ur plant under cfl/fluro lights, or a metal halide, but i just grow under my HPS, you can leave them under the lamp 24/7 f you want but i keep it at 18 hours on and 6 hours off. When the plant is at least 18ins you want to put them under the light for 12 on and 12 hours total darkness (i meant dark, no light at all) when ur just growing the weed (vegitating) you want a fertalizer with high nitrogen and when flowering (12/12) you want a nutrient that has highter Phosphorus. good luck mate hope i helped ;)

i found a cheap ay to grow indoors for like 4 plants but deck out ya closet and foil it up and grab 3 flood lights clear globes preferred that pump out 500 to 1000 watts seems to be doing my plants real well the set up only cost me 100 bux i get mad buds all year round and all u need is a open window and a heater / fan works like a charm and banana skins is great for the potassium intake and spring water they love so its always handy to buy a load of bottled water flush the plants out every 3 weeks add some mirical grow keep lights on em 24/7 then 2 weeks befor harvest change the light cycle to 8 hours a day the plant will force bud and and then on the last week b4 harvest change the light cycle to 12/12 ut freaks it out a little but yeah from excpierience i was getting more buds out of it that way and if you want leave it for a A week or 2 in complete darkness then cunt trim cur youll have mad smoke i heard that addinig cinnomon will give ya plant a mad smoke never tried it but if any one dose tell me about it cause i wanna know if it works i might do a few cinno plants donw the track
