  • You probably need a new keyboard. If you have 2 computers turn them off and try switching keyboards. If that works, you need to replace the faulty keyboard. If you continue to have the same problem than the keyboard controller is bad and the easiest solution is to get a keyboard that will plug into a USB port.

  • You don't need a new keyboard. People should not give advice if they don't know what they are talking about. press and hold ctrl and shift keys at the same time. Hold them for approx 10 seconds and your keyboard will be back to normal.
