Can the Board of Directors of a HOA change the parking rules, without notifying the homeowners?

There should be a letter sent out to each homeowner, but they can get away with a 30 day notice posted on a community bulletin board.

Yes it sucks. My HOA just raised my parking permit fee from 5 buck a YEAR to 75 A MONTH! NAZIS THEY ARE!

Correct everyone...One Miami Attorney advised me once - sell your home and never buy in an Association regulated community ever again! Now I have to admit, the State has improved things a little, and the Courts ane law enforcement agencies are starting to allow the Board God of HOA's to be punished for malfeance. But they still have way too much room to screw with our money!

In most states the board must notify homeowners no less than 10 nor more than 30 days of a new rule. Please read your Declaration/Bylaws or CCRs. These will instuct you how a Rules can be passed.
