How does a landlord evict someone in Tennessee? What if the landlord and tenant live in two different states?

    If the landlord lives in another state, he will have to come to tennesse, in order to sign the writ of eviction. once signed and served, the tennant has 30 days to vacate the premises. if not, the sheriff dept. will remove personal belongings and yourself, out on the public street.
