  • Nope, I'd never TELL anyone what do do, I'd listen and maybe tell them what I would do if it was me, but in the end its thier life and up to them to make the final choice :-)
  • Nope...I have a disclaimer. "This is what works for ME"...and I go on to say, its your own desicion. However, if they are a friend and it doesn't work out, I feel for them because I care, but I don't feel guilty. Nor have I ever had a real friend throw it back at me and blame for the total mess they've created.
  • I give advice, no one listens anyway so I am not worried.
  • No, as I never tell them what to do. It is up to them to weight different advice from many sources and act on it. I say what my experience has been or what I would do but relating it to why it is MY way. And I would never mention anything that would hurt someone, either. I always advocate the loving way, the safe way, and the tactful way through life, but they are always clearly my way and maybe not work for them.
  • Everyone has some kind of advice, the KEY is your reason when giving it. If you truly care for the person and will be there for the outcome you should not feel worried or guilty.
