How do I go about cleaning house for parvo? I know that you use bleach but what do you do if some items can not be bleached? If I don't clean right and my dog molly makes it through this and comes home will she get parvo again?

You need to ask your vet if you can have or buy some of the cleaner they use which will be affective against the parvo virus (you may even be able to but it over the net im not sure- some examples would be trigene and new genn-you can soak bedding and material in these and then wash normally in a machine) its important to clean everything correctly as the parvo virus can survive along time in the environment, so in theory she could be infected again if everythings not completly disinfected. I would suggest if your dog isnt already vaccinated to do so once she has fully recovered this is the best way to reduce the risk of catching the virus, best wishes i hope Molly recovers

have you taken her to the vet

go to the vet or feed store and get her an 8 way shot for parvo etc...and then you dont have to clean so thoroughly...just clean
    normally and especially her areas.

if your dog has her shots annually she wont get parvo.
i give my dogs a $3 dollar parvo, 8 way shot, 8 diseases, from the feed store twice a year. and rabies once a year.

    do you use heartworm?

Don't worry about cleaning it for parvo.. Once a dog gets it it's VERY unlikely they will get it again. Dogs, like humans build up immunities and antibodies.
I cured 3 dogs of parvo at home. They all made it, but one was mentally screwed up afterwards. The others were fine. None ever got it twice and all were around other dogs plenty of times.
