Well, I just told him, I was like that when we met, I was like that when he fell in love with me, why now does it bother you? And usually that ends the discussion. I am who I am, all of me and my quirks is what makes me lovable. :-)

My man's main pet peeve is that when my best friend is here, then he doesn't exist, even if I haven't seen him in forever......I told him too bad, thats how its gotta be, she's been here for 12 years and you for 3...He understands, but thats really his only choice, or to leave me, which he'll never do

I have somethings that I do that drive him crazy, some he has shared with me and I have tried to change...he is patient with me and also realizes that I am human and loves me for my flaws as well.

My husband, over the years, has told me MANY things I do that annoy him. Some I have successfully changed: I don't complain anymore (I just hold it in!) and I always put my dishes in the dishwasher and I drive slower in parking lots. Other things I've made a bit better: I do my laundry a bit more often and I get a car wash more often. But he never says "that's great that you did all those dishes!" he only complains when it's not done. That's a lot of negative energy I don't need when I'm trying so hard!
