Mercy and forgiveness are fine concepts and we can all benefit from these qualities in others; some test these concepts routinely, how do we establish and what should the limits of tolerance be? What do you do when your tolerance limit is exceeded?

    What decides it for me is if it was done intentionally to hurt me. I will always have mercy but not always forgive. What I think is unforgivable you may choose to forgive . So it's a personal issue on when enough is enough.

    For me the intention to hurt is a different thing from hurting unintentionally. That probably is the tolerance line for me.
