You are torturing yourself and everyone around you. It hurts to be the person dumped. You keep asking yourself, why? Its tough, but you have to move forward. I am sure the person you are with, is also suffering with you. If you do not let the past go, you may not have a future with your current lady. She will only take so much.

Why are you glamourizing someone that cheated on you, lied and stole from you? Trust me, if you left your current girlfriend for your ex, you'd realize that you should have stayed with your current girlfriend because your ex treats you terribly.

It sounds like you have some unresolved issues going on. Some may not agree with me on this, but my past experiences have led me to believe that if 2 yrs later you still have her on your mind to this extreme my advice would be to look her up and see if something is still there. But first you must decide if the things she has put you thru can be forgiven because if not you will only be causing more problems because of the resentment. Its not fair to the person you are with to have such conflicted emotions. If you dont resolve this issue, you will always wonder "what if?". However, I dont think you should ever have to "forget" her---you did once love her---but you must move forward in one way or another. you just need to find a woman who is exciting and a LITTLE bit dangerous but NOT that dangerous. You apparently like a little excitement in your women. It's best to find someone who isn't so safe, you'll get bored with that. But also you dont want to date someone who is a liar and a cheater. Of course!
