Drink LOTS of water, gaterade while working out, and keep on working out, you'll see a difference soon, and if you don't, others who know you will....sometimes when you see yourself everyday you don't notice the changes, lifting weights will not help you lose weight, so the scale doesn't measure that.....it helps change fat into muscle which will make you gain weight but look better.

Eat better things. Walking might not be enough to lose weight. Consider more cardio exercises. When lifting weights, be sure to lift with low weight and high reps. This will tone your muscles more than build them.

dont forget, as you build muscle your weight will go up, then you'll slim down also. 190lbs of muscle is good, and takes half the space ;) Everyone is right also, aerobic LOTS of aerobic, water, and gatorade, water hydrates, and gatorade replaces electrolytes, keep it up :D

Do Meth. You'll slim down in no time...and be able to put in a lot of hours. Feeling overweight will be the least of your concerns.

Lifting weights is an excellent way to start. Just like a bigger engine will burn more fuel, larger muscles can burn more fat. However, once you've put on muscle mass, you'll need to step into aerobic exercise: Fast, high heart rate stuff.

The old measure to see if you're pumping it hard enough is that you should be able to talk, but not be able to sing.

What makes you think that you're overweight?

Muscle weighs 7 times as much as fat so you could be replacing fat with muscle at a rate that maintains your present weight.

Many folks are surprised by how much they actually eat in a day; especially when they have unlimited access to grab a bite here and there.

You may want to keep a log for several days of everything that you eat. You might find some surprises when you look back and find some places to make changes.

Lifting weights will only increase your muscle mass, making you weigh MORE. Try doing some cardio, and drink more water and eat more fruit and veggies. Limit carbs and sugar if you want to see results more quickly.
