What's the best way to tell the guy you're seeing you don't like how they dress. Is it a good move to buy them something you like and encourage them to wear it?

no, not at all. let him dress however he wants to, it's his clothes. you could let him know, but then you might just give him a complex. unless he's a hobo or something, then you could probably give him a few things.

To be honest, how a person dresses is often a reflection of their own personal taste and sense of style. If he's not into his clothes or his 'look', see if he's interested in changing things up a little. However, if he's not, leave it be. If how a person dresses makes that big of a difference to you, look for someone who all ready fits your idea of a good dresser.

I dont know about your boyfriend, but i know i like to dress to impress... do it conditioning style... comment on the clothes you really like, go with him to buy clothes (make it a fun time) and get him clothes for christmas and such.. my girlfriend effeciently "trained" me in a couple months.. i was in need of a style change.. BADLY!

The next time you're walking around the mall pop into a clothing store and look at some of the men's clothes you like. Comment to him that he'd look really good in that, or have him try something on and, even if he doesn't buy it, let him know he looked great in it. That way you'll put an idea in his head of how you'd like him to look. Whether or not he changes is up to him, but at least you've given the suggestions.

You should like a person for who they are not what they wear, how would you feel if they told you that they didn't like what you wore? Everyone has different tastes .
