Question

Help answer this question below.

Would it be better to have bald tires on the front or rear of a rear-wheel-drive vehicle in California (by bald, I mean showing metal on the inside)? If there was a blowout, would it be easier to control the vehicle if the blown tire was on the front?

I'd put them on the rear. It wouldn't affect the steering as much if it blew out on a rear-wheel drive vehicle.
