Send it back to the people who performed the original "repair". To be legally acceptable as a repair, the company concerned must make the product 'suitable for use' again. If they broke something else trying to repair the original problem, they must correct that at their own expense.

Take it back, show them what has happened, ask them to fix it properly,or you can take it to the Small Claims Tribunal (or whatever the equivalent is in your part of the world).
