I want to file bankruptcy with my wife but she has a quit claim deed in her name on her mom's house. my question is will her mom's house be excempt because she is still alive and living in it. This is stated in the deed:Saving, keeping and reserving a lif

    All that does is put her name on the title. It does not leave her with any fiscal responsibility. In order for it to affect her, she has to be on the mortgage with the lender. Not just the deed.
