This is what worked for me, when I was in high school.... FAKE IT! I just pretended I was confident. I felt like a moron but it work. Then before I knew it, I wasnt faking anymore and I had self confidence. It is a lot easier said then done, but it does work!

Fake it 'till you make it! It works! You become what you practice, just as you create the circumstances you fear. If you fear you are unattractive or socially unacceptable, for sure, you will be. We morph into what we practice, so become the characteristics you admire most!

One of the best things in the world that you can do is hold your head up when you walk. Don't look down! This in itself makes you feel better! And people are much more likely to notice you and THINK you have confidence even if you are a bit shy!
