Harmful in what way? Physically? Mentally? Socially? Cocaine usually causes an addict to waste their money faster, while meth tends to be more manageable AT FIRST. That's the tricky part about meth- you can be a totally functioning addict for months and never realize that you are slowly slipping past the point of responsible use. If crack qualifies as cocaine then it is most harmful by far.

can you tell how much someone is doing? my brother just since christmas has lost alot of wieght, he won't sleep, he calls garbage treasure, he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him right now. how much is to much and is he on meth my family is very concerned he already has bi-polar so it probablly makes him more suseptable, he has used it before but didn't get this bad this fast and i think he is bringing in his 17 year old son with him, his son already smokes pot and sniffs aresol cans and drinks and he is also changing they back eachother up and almost hit my mom his grandma and told her to get off the property and that him and his dad were leaving to go up in the hills and live so to leave them alone. what does this all sound like he's already suicidal do you think hell keep taking the drug to kill himself and his son?

both are harmful, once you are dead it's final, then ask which is more harmful.

crystal meth by far! Cocaine is a plant and is bad for you, but not nearly as bad as meth, which is a completely man-made drug. Meth can be made with so many different things, it would just boggle a person's mind. I live in a small town (pop. 5,000) and our county has the highest meth addicts and meth labs per capita in the USA! So I have seen what meth does to people of all ages and races. Cocaine is much more expensive, so it is sometimes used with more care, b/c all the money put into it...aka "the rich man drug" but both aren' good....obviously!

All drugs are harmful, whats the difference your gonna end up dead if you keep intaking it.

Seriously neither are worse. In fact neither are "bad". Drugs are indifferent. It is the person using that determines the outcome of drug use. And what drug they use. I get the feeling that a lot of people here are not addicts themselves. Yeah sure you might be dealing with an addict, but if you have never used you just don't know. People who use almost ALWAYS have other mental/emotional issues. Many drugs will magnify those underlying problems not cause the problems themselves. I know plenty of cokeheads that have gone violent, have gone suicidal, have gone homicidal. Sure the media is picking on meth today, but in all honesty they are missing the bigger picture. Maybe you have heard the term "Drug of Choice". This is a very real aspect to drug use. There is a reason why some shoot heroine while others shoot meth. Why there are life long drinkers while others just smoke pot. Personality types are drawn to specific drugs. Types of drugs draw certain types of people. Heroine addicts are wired for a downer (like the nods, and the "restful" nature of the drug). Those drawn to speed want to stay awake, are naturally drawn to being "up". Meth being stronger in the up sense than coke will naturally draw those who want to be higher up. Other aspects of drugs also draw personality types. Like speed tends to have sexual enhancing properties drawing those who have sex addiction issues to use meth more than other drugs. Being "wired" for a kind of high/trip/experience usually relates to other issues (mental/emotional states of mind) which govern where a person goes when on drugs. Drugs rarely make a person do something they do not WANT to do already. Drugs don't take people down roads that their minds haven't looked at. Drugs do remove the road blocks to travel down those roads, Drugs do give a "good reason" to do things we normally wouldn't do. But it is the people, not the drugs, that do those things.

Crystal Meth, both are harmful but meth is a much quicker acting faster addictive drug
-
Who cares. They are both bad. I have seen alot of people become the biggest losers because of meth. They live in motels, they have no money, they steal from people. they have no life. Its really sad. Meth is extremely addicting. Once you do it you always want to do it. No one likes you.
-
I would say meth but CRACK is a close second.
-
Although I am not advocating either drug, I would have to say that cocaine is worse, only because you have to snort (or whatever) so much more of it in order to maintain the high.
-
They're both BAD!!! I've seen so much damage done to people and their families by both!
-
Both are dangerous to the users, but meth contains poisons not found in cocaine, such as: Alcohol - Gasoline additives/Rubbing Alcohol Ether (starting fluid) Benzene Paint thinner Freon Acetone Chloroform Camp stove fuel Anhydrous ammonia White gasoline Pheynl-2-Propane Phenylacetone Phenylpropanolamine Rock, table or Epsom salt Red Phosphorous Toluene (found in brake cleaner) Red Devil Lye Drain cleaner Muraitic acid Battery acid Lithium from batteries Sodium metal Ephedrine Cold tablets Diet aids Iodine Bronchodialators Energy boosters Iodine crystals (http://www.mappsd.org/Meth%20Ingredients.htm) Would you knowingly swallow drain cleaner or brake fluid? Not to mention that homemade meth labs have a propensity to explode.
-
I have known casual cocaine users (party drugs), but I don't think anyone can be a casual meth user. So I would have to say meth is more harmful.
-
We all know their both bad for you!!!! But when you talk about harmful, well cocaine is natural, a plant. And meth is all chemical cooked in some scums kitchen. So I'm going with Meth as the more harmful and cocaine as the harmful yet natural drug.
-
It would all depend on the process that went into making the drug...the chemicals, procedures, etc... One thing I learned in rehab was that alcohol is far more destructive to your body than even Meth. Cigarettes being second. Marijuana was one of the least destructive drugs to ones body. This shocked me so much I asked 2 seperate doctors and both confirmed this. One even went as far as mentioning that alcohol has no use in the medical field other than to sterelize needles. Even meth/pseudopherine has a medical use. I am not against the use of any type of drug, its the abuse that I don't care for and what draws attention to negatives surrounding the drug. I mean look at all the problems alcohol has caused, however its completely legal here in the U.S.

why? are you planning on doing either??
-
Ice is much more dangerous than cocain! MUCH MORE!
-
Crystal meth.
-
meth is alot cheaper and has worse effects on your body, but if your talking crack cocaine it is more addicting and can take every cent you have along with your house job and family, I would have to say crack cocaine, cocaine taken in powder form has nothing on the above
-
Crystal meth is almost 3 times more powerful on the pleasure receptors in the brain than coke. Crystal tends to be more addictive and it's cheaper than coke. Crystal can rot your teeth. I think it's easier to have a heart attack on crystal than on coke. They are both very pleasurable drugs, and potentially dangerous. In my opinion, crystal is usually more harmful.
-
CRYSTAL METH if you do Cocaine in moderation first off, its not addictive, after your stash is gone, you jones for an hour, and after that your fine. you get hooked on Meth, its just abut as hard, if not harder to get off than Heroin, and it has so many distugsting foreign chemicals in it that you would not want in your body like rat poison and ether so, stick w/ the Coke bud.

I'm only 12 turning 13 in a few months, I don't know if you will listen to a little girl, but I have good knowledge about this.... Marijuana, pot, weed, cannabis, maryjane, grass, hashish, dope, the good stuff, what ever you want to call it...IT'S NOT A DRUG, IT'S JUST A PLANT...there HASN'T been one death from this wonderful, harmless plant...on the other hand cocaine causes exertion on the heart muscle causing heart failure, and crystal meth causes your face to get very ugly(crystal meth is dance of death), it also kills you!!!
