Humans are highly cliquish in nature. Racism is a larger form of simple human xenophobia. Even among ancient people, only exposed to their own "race" those not part of your group are considered lesser. Among primitive tribes it is not at all uncommon to see feirce rivalry, not always friendly, between two or more groups. In highschool it is very common to see people shunning others not part of their group. So, yes. Humans have always, and will always be racist. Even in the event that we all have the same skin, hair, and eye color, we'll still find a reason to hate each other.

Actually, i think it was americans who invented the term racism and who first started practicing racism. Many people view slavery and racism in the same light. Although, they are very different.

Racism does not exist in the world. Race is a human concept that has no scientific validity. We are all one species (Homo sapiens sapiens) with superficial physical differences which might be closer to breeds in dogs, horses and other domestic animals. People fight over cultural differences and stress imagined uniqueness to bolster tribal and ethnic identity.
