She's trying to say, "Are you okay?". And yes, I'm fine, thank you! ^_^ But next time, just say "daijyobu?". "desu ka" is not commonly used. Try, "O genki desu ka" for "How are you?!".^_^ I'm in Japanese II. ^.^

Daijoubu desu ka, and it is a question of "Are you all right?" which you'd answer, "Hai, Daijoubo desu!" meaning, yes I'm all right!
