Help answer this question below.

I was hurt at work 5 weeks ago and just received a notice in the mail for workman's comp. I'm pregnant and due in 5 weeks but I'm still out of work. Will my worker comp get terminated when I have my baby?

The State that you are in will have a great influence as to how the details of this will play out, but to answer this in a general term or as it is understood as long as the original injury is still present and being treated for by the WC Dr. and the Dr feels that the original injury still prevents you from doing even sedentary work (if available from employer) then you should still continue receiving (TTD) Temp Total Disability benefits.

There will be other forms of disability that you may be qualified to get if you are not able to continue the WC benefits, but these depend on your employability status, in other words you need to be employable to receive them and if you are on active TTD then you are not employable as a matter of law.

If you like you may write me direct with the needed info for full explanation
