Why do you suddenly get itchy, when you are unable to move to scratch. (ie: like when getting an MRI or an x-ray.)

It's not that you get more itchy in such a state, it's that normally you would scratch it without even thinking about it, but when you're not able to, you're more aware of it.

that happens to me too, Im an altar boy in church in front of those people and I need to scratch my nose
