I had an aunt that saved green stamps and would proudly display the different items she would get for her stamps. I remember being at her house one day when there were boxes and boxes of stamps. They went and turned them in for an 8 track player.

Thanks for reminding me, there was a store called Miller & Paine and you could trade the stamps for toasters and anything else you wanted. I think ours were green stamps. And I do think there was an episode of Brady Bunch where they had some stamps and they were arguing over a canoe or a sewing machine.

S&H green stamps. My parents still have a ton of them. That could have been redeemed for household goods or appliances. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S&H_Green_Stamps

We had Blue Chip Stamps and S&H Green Stamps. My mom used to save them and then I got into it. We would get all sorts of things, including some furniture and kitchen appliances. It was so exciting to bring in all your books and trade them in at the special store for it.

I remember helping my mom paste S&H Green Stamps in a book. And she also got Top Value stamps. I remember having several "Toppy" stuffed elephants. I don't recall what else my mom got, though...that was so many years ago.

We had S&H Green Stamps when I was a kid. My grandmother let my sister and I save them over the summer one year to get a little turntable for our room. We played 45's on that thing until it died.

We had an S&H Green Stamp store, as well as a Gold Bond store. (Was it Gold Bond? It was Gold something, and I remember it not being as good as green stamps.) Holy cow, LOOK! http://www.shsolutions.com/
