Normally I am really sympathetic to that kind of stuff but there is so much of that on here that I find myself skipping over it. I can't imagine someone would truly be looking to AB for life saving advice - but I could be wrong. :)

Some of us feel so much like s**t that some people like me are just looking for some of our close friend or friends to reassure us that everything will be ok and if we don't get that reassurance, my life will indeed end.

I have never used ab for that propose, but i am glad that some have, i try to talk to a friend i met here when i'm on the edge of a suicide attempt.

I much rather they reach out in a place where some are willing to listen then to feel that no one wants to listen. if just one person finds help here from a caring soul then it is worth so much. I don't really know why perhaps they feel someone will not treat them like a social out-cast and honestly listen.

I'd say they either have been on here or have been lurking and trust people here, they don't know where else to turn, or they're just looking for attention.
