I used benedryl for occasional allergies. When I'm having to take them regularly though, Rhinocort and Dyconomine (not sure on the spellings) are what finally worked for me. Ones is a nose spray, the other is a pill. I was rated pretty high on the grass and weed allergies, so we had to try many things before finding something that worked. :)

From personal experience Claritin doesn't work, and niether does Zyrtec.

I now take nasal sprays for allergies (these are perscription drugs so talk to your doctor if they are right for you).

I take Astelin in the morning and Flonase at night. Amazingly in one day, my allergies have disappeared.

It's amazing I would definetly suggest it.

My husband likes Allegra (RX) but there is another non-RX drug on the market called Alavert, I used it once and it worked. Most of these meds (other than Benadryl, take a few days to work.
