Yes, definitely. Imagine if someone decided to smear your name, wreck your reputation out of sheer vindictiveness. We should all be given the benefit of the doubt. Hard to agree with if you're the victim and know very well that the person is guilty as charged. But we need to have a policy that protects the innocent too. Let's hope the evidence is sustained where there is a genuine case to prove.

Yes I do. and i also think that the severity of the crime should be considered as well. a 19 yo having sex with a 17 yo may be considered a sex crime, but should the guy be tainted for life for it?

Of course. Anyone accused of ANY crime should remain anonymous until found guilty. Furthermore, anyone who needs to be locked up (to protect society) before being found guilty should be kept in comfortable and safe accommodations and allowed unlimited communications.
