  • If you didn't give her permission to take the vehicle then report it stolen immediately. The sooner the better as she may try to sell it off for money. The fact that she moved and cut off her phones should be proof enough to the police that this isn't a simple domestic dispute - she stole it. Take action right now. If the police won't take your report (they may say it's a simple scuffle) then ask them what they recommend.
  • If i were you, hire a repo company to find your car.
  • Report it stolen.
  • Unless you have an agreemnet in writting that the car was a gift for her she had to give it back when the relationship ended or take over the payments you're kind of stuck. The only thing going in your favore here is that the car is still registered to you. You need to contact a lawyer in your state to see exactly what you can do to get the car back. I would say you shoul dsue her for the money you've paid since the relationship ended. And let this be a valuable lesson not to buy expensive things for girlfriends.
  • my ex-girlfriend has title on the vehicle that I am driving and gave me permission to drive it as long as I keep up the payments which I have been doing for 4 months, but when I asked her to get new tags and where I should send the money, she refused to answer my calls, and now she has reported it stolen...I want to return it to her but she won't answer my calls to make arrangements to drop it of and I don't know her new address
