When I start up my Gamecube with any disc in it, the Gamecube logo flashes up, and then my Gamecube starts making clicking noises for a few seconds before going to the Gamecube options menu. What's wrong with it?

I have had 2 game cube b4, this happenede to both of them. this could be happening for a number of reasons, the most usual reason this used to happen to ME, was because my disk was SCRATCHED or dusty (most likely cuz its scratched). to prevent ure disks from becomeing scratched, they have these slip covers available for music cds, game cds etc..but anyways, it goes to the main menu cuz it is unable to play a scratched up or dusty disc. :(

    good luck with that.
