  • Adderall is an ADD medication. Most likely not for baseball players.
  • I took it for ADD at one point of my life, it made me so sick. I'd avoid it if I were you.
  • Adderal is for ADD. I lost too much weight on it because youre never hungry. ITs great for people that really dont care for eating but i like my food. Give ya a rush though.
  • Adderall, if not used for ADD, can be used as a speed since it is essentially amphetamine. Baseball players could use it as an unfair advantage. It can be highly addictive.
  • It is often prescribed to treat ADD. However, like many medicines in this category, it is often sold on streets to college kids to help cram for exams. Knowing that, it makes me think it is similar to speed, and could be considered a performance-enhancing drug for baseball players...those that don't have a prescription for it that is.
  • it is used to treat both ADD and narcolepsy. a friend of mine takes it for narcolepsy and i'm pretty sure he's addicted to it. it's an amphetamine, really isn't all that safe, and if you play sports i wouldn't recommend taking it since it puts a lot of strain on your heart.
  • If you don't have add or adhd then it'll make you really energized, but I've heard it can make some bad things happen too so if ur the one taking it, then read up on it at drugs.com before you continue
  • It's an amphetamine. Actually, it's four different types of amphetamines rolled into one package. Commonly prescribed for ADHD in adolescents and adults. It is a controlled substance, and has quite a high street value as it is a form of speed. If it's not prescribed for ADD or ADHD, then it has no medical merit whatsoever. It's NOT normal for athletes to use this medication, especially if it's not prescribed for them.
  • I am prescribed adderall for ADHD, or basically to help me focus on one thing rather than having scattered thoughts. The literal name for adderall is amphetamine salt, which is to say, speed. How speed helps me concentrate is beyond me but it works. As far as being safe, as long as your doctor thinks so. It is addictive and speeds up your heart rate. This is why college kids abuse it because it keeps you up and gives you a feeling similar to cocaine. Athletes abuse it for extending their workouts and improving their focus. The first time I took it I felt like I could write a book while running a marathon. I'm not a doctor but I imagine anything with amphetamine in it's name is not safe if abused. Hope I helped.
