  • Two surge protectors can coexist on one outlet safely. What matters is that the circuit, including what's plugged into other outlets on the same circuit along with what's plugged into the surge protectors, isn't overloaded. So add up the total amps or wattage of everything that might be turned on at one time, and make sure it doesn't exceed 15 amps or 1800 watts--assuming this is typical household wiring. One other consideration. Check the terms of any equipment protection guarantee, because the manufacturer of the surge protector might use that as grounds to void it.
