Its very simple, KFC's Gravy is made from the drippings of the pressure=cook-chicken as in the original recipe, it just comes out brown because the drippings were brown to begin with. So they just add flour and water to the drippings at a high heat to boil and wala its gravy. Just like mom used to make. Gravy is all the same use the drippings with flour and water and maybe alittle corn starch (to make a thicker gravy) and bring to a boil and you have gravy just like your mom used to make.
Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Not saying that they do it, but you can easily make brown gravy out of chicken. Just make a brown chicken stock for your gravy instead of white chicken stock.
