most lkely but try to ask the dealer they know better than me but it is part of the drivetrain without the drivetrain wouldnt function anymore

I would say it's part of the powertrain. Two main reasons: 1. It's directly connected to the engine. 2. Without it, the vehicle would overheat and die. It should be covered.
