How do I tell whether my Xbox has a 8 GB or 10 GB hard drive?

    if you go to the memory section in the xbox dashboard, it will say how many blocks of memory there are. if it is 5000000+ it's 10 gb, if it doesn't start with 5 it's 8. don't open your xbox up unless you need to change a part because M$ won't give you any help if the waranty is void.

    Open it up and void your warrenty. The WD Protege HDD were 8GB the Seagate was the 10Gb
