If light contains dark matter/energy, could a gravitional effect on dark matter/energy be causing the bending [not "nothing," i.e. space]?

You're reading If part of the universe is dark matter and dark energy, which may or may not conform to present physics laws, why do scientists scoff at 'free energy' inventions that might be utilizing this 'dark' stuff?

Ha, awesome, I love that someone else suspects that dark matter is too convenient a solution. When the math doesn't work, inventing a concept to make it work is often a sign your math is overlooking something.
