    NL & Major League record is 36 by Chicago vs. Louisville on June 29, 1897.

    AL record is 29 by Boston vs. St. Louis on June 4, 1950 and Chicago vs. Kansas City on April 23, 1955.

    The Texas Rangers, tonight (22 August 2007) with 30, seem to have broken the AL record, provided nobody has broken the record between the original post and now.

    That is true, the Major League record is 36 by Chicago. It was funny though a couple of years ago. I was looking at the CWS scores, and Texas U scored 35 runs against some unknown team.
